Sadie Ryan
Sadie Ryan is an author who loves animals and lives in leafy Cheshire in the North West of England. She writes psychological suspense/domestic noir novels and her debut, Behind Closed Doors, will be published by Ruby Fiction in May 2019. When asked where she gets her ideas from, she says, ‘From observation, inspiration and lots of wicked thoughts.’
Brilliantly written and compulsive reading, definitely not to be missed. This is the author’s second book and she’s achieved another 5 star from me.
Through no fault of their own, apart from being too trusting, Oliver and Gemma have been swindled and are about to lose their flourishing business and everything they possess.
When a stranger approaches Gemma with an unusual financial offer, she’s suspicious, in desperation she takes his offer. But why would a stranger help? Now where ever she goes, he’s nearby watching. He won’t leave her alone and is clearly determined to destroy her. Gemma’s life is spinning out of control.
Lock your doors, close the curtains, this is a tense page turner right up to the gripping end.
With so many twists and turns I couldn’t foresee the end. Excellent 5*
This is a truly terrifying story. It highlights how very easily you can be entwined into a evil web without realising. Gemma’s fall from her life into the pit of hell is so well written that I couldn’t put this book down. It is really the stuff of nightmares. You will love this book despite the words I have just written as it will take you into Gemma’s world. Ok, you might need a pile of chocolate and even a cup of hot chocolate to keep you going to the end, but yes, it is well worth it.
Another thriller from Sadie Ryan. Gemma unwittingly accepts financial help from a person who is seeking revenge. This begins one problem after another for Gemma and her husband. Gemma is on borrowed time to figure out what is going on and how to fix her life before it’s too late.
I really enjoyed this book. The tension built over time and the conclusion was great.
This book truly grips you from beginning to end.
I could not put it down, this book takes you a long with it.
Makes your heartbeat faster the further you go within the story.
The twists and turns.
It is an excellent book and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
